What is the exam format?

The MRCOG part I exam consists of two combined MCQ/EMQ papers, each lasting for 2 hours. The current value of each correct MCQ answer remains the same. Each correct EMQ answer will be worth the same number of marks as 3 correct MCQ answers. EMQs contribute 20% of the total marks.

When is the next exam?

The exam is held in March and September of each year. The exact dates of the exam can be found on the RCOG website.

What will we offer?

MCQ & EMQ
We will be offering 1200 MCQs, organised into 5 MCQ papers, and 100 EMQs, organised into 5 EMQ papers, for late 2009. In 2010, we will have at least 2400 MCQs and 200 EMQs, organised into 10 papers each. Further questions will then be periodically added, to achieve our goal of offering you the most comprehensive question bank ever!
